Our funding

The pie charts below show the incoming resources funds. Trading activities are the sale of information and resources expended for Citizens Advice in and publicity items to bureaux and other advice 2005/06. The majority of our £37,637,000 income came from government grants. Funding from other public bodies, companies and charitable trusts for restricted projects is becoming increasingly important due to a reduction in DTI funds. Trading activities are the sale of information and publicity items to bureaux and other advice organisations or individuals.

The £37,515,000 resources expended are allocated to charitable activities, governance costs and the costs of generating funds.
