The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity reliant on trained volunteers and funds to provide these vital services for local communities.

What do our volunteers say?

There are over 20,000 volunteers from all backgrounds and communities in the Citizens Advice service. One thing they all have in common is a commitment to providing a vital service in their local community.

As advisers, receptionists, campaigners, administrators, trustees, or through their  IT, PR or fundraising skills, CAB volunteering clearly makes a huge impact on our volunteers' lives.
