The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity reliant on trained volunteers and funds to provide these vital services for local communities.

Current campaigns

Citizens Advice current campaigns are listed below.

  • End child poverty - holding the government to account on their promise to halve child poverty in Britain by 2010.

  • Tenancy deposits - campaign to promote the tenancy deposit protection scheme to landlords.

  • A right to justice - campaign to draw attention to the shortage of civil and family legal advice.
