Personal capability assessment

This course is a redeveloped and updated version of our 'Incapacity Benefit - the Descriptors in Detail' course.

This course covers

  • A detailed look at Personal Capability Assessment (PCA)
  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Practical examples and case law

Learning objectives

This practical course takes a detailed look at the personal capability assessment (PCA) and the case law that has helped define the descriptors. By the end of the course you will be more confident in helping your clients through the system, disputing PCA decisions  and preparing for an appeal.

Duration one day 10.00am to 4.30pm
