Course outline
The quality of preparation of employment tribunal cases fundamentally affects the success of the case. Our experience is that well prepared cases are usually settled before a hearing and with an out come that the client is happy with.
The reasons for this are not complicated – in well prepared cases the right issues have been identified, the right evidence has been obtained and persuasively presented, the weaknesses in the competing cases have been identified and the value of the case has been understood by both sides.
This course will help you reflect on your own practice in preparing employment tribunal cases, focus on the essential steps in the process and refresh your knowledge of current employment tribunal practice and procedure. It will introduce you to ways of working with your client and use their time and knowledge to best effect, concentrating your time on where you can add value.
